Template – Service #1 – Ionic Foot Baths
In our modern world we are exposed to a tremendous toxic load, our foods are sprayed with pesticides, our water has chlorine, the air we breathe is polluted, and our cleaning supplies, soaps, shampoos and detergents are loaded with chemicals.
The lymphatic system is a complex drainage or “sewer” system that consists of glands, lymph nodes, the spleen, thymus gland, and tonsils. Its role is to cleanse our cells by absorbing excess fluids, fats, and toxins from our tissues and into the blood where it can eventually be filtered out by the liver and kidneys.
Unfortunately, due to our toxic burden, nutritional deficiencies, and (most peoples) relative inactivity, this system has become increasingly polluted. In order to maintain our health ongoing detoxification is crucial to vibrant health.
How do you know if your lymphatic system is clogged?
There are several tell tale signs that lymphatic fluid is not moving effectively and that toxins are building up in your body. If you suffer from any of the following, it may be a sign your lymphatic system is clogged and needs a serious cleanse:
- Swelling in your fingers/rings fitting more tightly
- Brain fog
- Digestive issues
- Sinus infections
- Skin problems/dry and or itchy skin
- Enlarged lymph nodes
- Chronic fatigue
- Feeling sore or stiff when you wake up in the morning
- Unexplained injuries
- Excess weight
- Cold hands and feet
- Worsened allergies
- Food sensitivities
- Increased colds and flu
Unlike the circulatory system, in which the heart acts as a pump, this system has no pump. But there are certain things that you can do to activate your lymphatic system and get it flowing and removing toxins again. With all the toxins in modern products, many peoples bodies are overburdened and unable to purge toxins properly.
Ionic Foot Baths can help detox the body.
The first thing is to put your feet into a specially prepared water bath, the Ionic Foot Bath then deliver a filtered current which is specially designed to relax the body. Then the current combines with the water and added sea salt to generate positively and negatively charged ions. Toxins are also charged particles and as they circulate through the blood in the region of the foot, they are then naturally drawn to their opposite charge in the water that the foot is submersed in1. Initiated through the attraction of opposite charges and facilitated through both osmosis and diffusion, any negatively charged toxins are drawn to positively charged ions in the water and any positively charged toxins are drawn out into the water by negatively charged ions2.
The management of toxins is a life long journey, but with ongoing detoxification, the symptoms can be managed and reduced making living in our toxic world more tolerable.
